March is flying by...

Sumo kids
Ready to rumble

Eddie is glad to be back in the game...

The first time the sumo kids went belly to belly, it was in late January 2012--probably just a week after Eddie's collapse. It became our family's favorite sport. Then our lives changed and Eddie had to sit out at least one match because of his recent surgery. (Look for him in green striped sleeper--before diagnosis, and in white shirt--after defibrillator implantation.  Wow, what a difference a new heart and 2 years makes :-) We've avoided the sport ever since, because for so long it was on the no no list.  It was great to see him slamming around with the rest of the crew.  Take a look at the match.

Isaac has enjoyed (and relaxed more) through the first 2 science fairs of this year.  He got a blue ribbon in his category for each fair.
His research this year:
Enhancing the Maturation of Human Induced Pluripotent
Stem Cell-derived Cardiomyocytes by IGF-1 Treatment
Sunday afternoon art
Saturday morning job list--Lucy loves the white board/dry erase marker medium
Eddie is really learning to read!!!
Happily holding a beetle at the science fair
It wouldn't be our valley without a flood every couple of winters--50 minute commute stretches to 90+ minutes

Finally!
I've wanted to see this musical forever because when it premiered I heard raves about the puppets...They were amazing.  Eddie has been singing along with the CD for the past few months--belting out every word he knows and making up the ones he doesn't.  It was really meaningful to be able to take him to this show.  Of course, everyone else loved it too!
Eva dressed as Alice in Wonderland for school book character day (or is that little Lucy? ;-)
Eva is star student this week in her class.

Eddie did a great job roller skating for the first time!
